The last of Gindo’s Ghost of Christmas 6th annual set: ‘Future’! It’s a muddy, dark red hot sauce that is accented with tomato, black garlic, and olive.
WARNING: HOT STUFF!
As I said in the ‘Present’ review, it was a bit intense for me for reasons unknown. It was easier to tolerate than ‘Present’. Less flaming hot and burning, but still super burning. Best combo with it was with grits—that cut it down. But I still didn’t get nuanced flavor that I can easily remark upon or identify clearly with it. I look at it and think: strong kick, but not as bad as ‘Present’. I’d use it to give something a kick for sure but beyond that…hmmhmhm.
I still prefer ‘Past’ to this, for the intensity/burning reasons, but this was a good middle ground between ‘Present’ and it in spice. I would still probably recommend it as I did ‘Present’, with the asterisks and all and I would definitely recommend the set. It’s very exciting to try and I await Christmas Future with the next Gindo’s Hot Sauce set.
