Vevan’s Ched-Shred is what it says to be: vegan cheddar shreds. It performs as advertised!
The Ched-Shreds have a sort of chalky texture and when making cheesy eggs, it sort of gets this hard/fried texture rather than super melty. This is fine and tasty. It feels like it has the best cheddar cheese taste and texture of vegan alternatives I’ve tried. I’m not sure if that makes it optimal for how I use it, but it is good. It serves its purpose well and I do recommend it.
