Blonde Apple

The Blonde Apple, is well, blonde! Look at that pale yellow-green skin. It just glows. The flesh underneath the skin blends in right with it. Under certain lighting, the two hues can seem almost indistinguishable from each other.

The consistency of this muddy yellow flesh is hard and crisp. Not the crisp that is juicy and easy to break off, but the crisp that you have to work for. The juice is present, but the grain of the Blonde Apple is tight so it takes some biting and effort to get to it. And it is worth it.

The juice is sharp and tangy, but subtly sweet. It leans more towards the former than to the latter, but the presence of some sweetness cuts it in such a way that it doesn’t feel too acidic or tart for raw eating. The Blonde apple feels easy and comfortable to consume, asides from the aforementioned hardness.

I definitely recommend this apple. It has a mixture of qualities that make it an above average choice for pairing and for simple eating.
