This Edmond Fallot Dijon Mustard is a product of France. I purchased it from the Mustard Museum in Wisconsin. It’s a stone ground mustard that has a consistent yellow texture. The label says that the grinding technique gives it its “distinct high quality and flavour”. I could be snarky and say “we’ll see about that”, but I’ll say this right now: it’s absolutely true.
This dijon mustard is so smooth, creamy, and delicious. It’s luscious…it has a tang to it, but not that intense of one. It’s just smooth and so satisfying. You could tell me this was mustard mayonnaise and I’d believe you because of the texture. It doesn’t feel heavy either. Light, smooth, and tasty… It does have a sharp edge, as does its smell, but it’s not intense or anything, it just works perfectly. It is rich and effortless with how it just… exists as a fantastic dijon mustard.
So. This Edmond Fallout Dijon Mustard is great. What else can I say but that I recommend you try it right now and devour it like I have? Ha! Well, I can also say that for some reason the thought of sandwiches keeps coming back to me. It evokes the memory of…mustard on sandwiches for me. Haven’t tried that yet, but…I feel like it would be amazing at it. As it is in general and alone. This is a fantastic dijon mustard. I’m probably spoiled now by it. Thanks.
