Full Belly Sandwich Dills…the logo and label design I like, but the name? Full Belly? How are you going to get full from eating pickles?
Well, you don’t, not really, and definitely not with these. Not because they are terrible, but they are sort of sharp and tangy…yet weak. Not as dilly as you’d think or as I’d expected. They aren’t that crunchy either. The thing that keeps in my memory regarding them is the type of tang it has…it’s not that strong. They also kind of got watery after a bit, which was not super appetizing for me. If it’s going to be sharp, it’s got to be crunchy.
Full disclosure: I’m not a dill pickle person. So the Full Belly Sandwich Dill pickles were an experiment for me. I can’t say I’ll get them again, unfortunately. They were OK, but not fantastic or not a type of pickle I’ll want to have often. If you like dill a great deal, you may enjoy these. I don’t like dill and I didn’t hate them, which was far more than I expected given my track record with them.
