I loved KOS’s Vanilla Protein Powder as a base for a smoothie and I heard Future Kind was good, so I decided to try it. 85 calories and 20g of protein per scoop? Works for me.

But it didn’t and I didn’t have a good time. I tried it as a smoothie, and the vanilla flavor never showed up. Just this weird off-ness. I didn’t feel that good after having the smoothie so I’ve been unable to willpower my way into trying another as I start to get nauseous thinking about it.
So we’ve been trying it in baked goods. English muffins and banana bread so far. The english muffins with the powder worked well. I think it works alright in baking, but not when going overboard with it.

Given my stomach’s refusal to think on it for long, I’m not going to recommend it. We’ll continue to use it up in baked goods, though. I think I’m burned on protein powder right now until my appetite recovers.
