The Keepsake apples I picked up were all a variety of shapes, sizes, and…curvatures. Supposedly that is its shtick from what I read from Orange Pippin. Despite varying shapes, they were all consistently red with some yellow flushes.
But who cares about appearances when you’re just going to eat it? Well, some people do, but you’re probably here for the flavor and texture—to know if eating the Keepsake apple is enjoyable.
And it is.
The Keepsake apple has a decent crunch with a good amount of juiciness. Nice mix of sweet and tart that comes as a solid punch of flavor. It’s quite good and I wish I had more to eat and enjoy—so yes, recommend it for general eating!
