Stuffed Spanish Olives are not an uncommon sight in stores or olive bars. Kirkland Signature’s Spanish Queen Olives, stuffed with pimiento, don’t appear much different from such olives, save they come in a large container and are large themselves.
The flavor of these Spanish Queen Olives is what you’d expect: intense and briny. They also had a sort of savory quality that I associate with grilled Spanish olives, which I found pleasantly surprising. Beyond general flavor notes, they are quite meaty texturally. That texture makes them feel very fulfilling, despite their sharp and briny nature.
In the realm of Spanish Olives stuffed with pimiento, the Kirkland Signature brand you cannot go wrong with. I prefer other olive types in general, but these are definitely tasty and a good change of pace. Have to recommend anyone who even remotely likes these types of olives or olives in general. Great value!
