Arizona Heat Koop's Mustard

Koop’s Mustard: Arizona Heat

I believe this is the first Koop’s Mustard I’ve ever had. There was something that spoke to me about it. The packaging is really slick and…the name of it: Arizona Heat. That name really declares its intention. Heat—and I like my heat.

I like heat and I like this ‘Arizona Heat’ mustard. It delivered fully in that department. Oh, jeez, this stuff has heat. A kick that stays with you….a nice burning. It’s addictive. It isn’t like spicy brown mustard that kind of kicks and fades…it’s different. In a very good way.

There are flecks of red. I suppose that’s where the heat comes from.

I’ve been eating it with carrots, potatoes, and pretty much whatever else I can (not alone, that’s a bad idea). The Koop’s Arizona Heat Mustard definitely has heat. I don’t know what Arizona Heat is, but it’s heat, and it’s a great spicy mustard. Intense and fulfilling.

Arizona Heat Koop's Dollop
It looks small, but it packs a punch.

It’s an interesting mustard too. This Arizona Heat Koop’s Mustard lives in the realm of slightly-unique but really good mustards. It’s not typical—it’s a combination I don’t think I’ve seen before: peppers like this and mustard. It pushes the boundaries of what a mustard can deliver.

So I recommend for people who like spicy/hot condiments and/or those wanting to try a different ‘style’ of mustard. But be warned it does bring the heat as its name suggests.
