The Matiz Piparra Peppers come in a small-ish jar. You can see them all lined up vertically inside—they look tiny and thin. You think: how intense can these be?
Answer: well, they weren’t that spicy, but take that from me with a grain of salt. I would say they were more vinegar-y than spicy. They have a sharp hit to them that bursts into your mouth.
They were a change of a pace from other pickled peppers and I like how tiny they were—packed ton of flavor in a small bite. If I stumbled across the Matiz Piparra Peppers again, I would pick them up—so that’s a recommendation.
