This creamy chive vegan cheese is not the first Miyoko’s cashew milk cheese product I’ve reviewed: I had Miyoko’s Cashew Milk Mozzarella before and thought it was pretty good. This is a very different type of product, though, but also good.
It is more of an acquired taste, however, due to its strong chive flavor. The chive really comes through this cashew milk cheese. It was almost overpowering for me. Texturally, it is smooth and can be spread. Good on crackers.
If you want a strong chive flavored vegan cheese, this definitely is for you. If not, I probably recommend it anyway since it’s a quality vegan cheese and it deserves to be tried. I might not go for it again, due to the flavor, but I’m glad I had it.
