So this Sirene Dark Milk Chocolate bar is actually a pack of two different bars. One is sourced from Guatemala, the other Madagascar. The Madagascar one has a more fruity flavor profile, while the Guatemalan is smoother and ‘richer.’
I did not like the Guatemalan bar at all. It wasn’t the type of dislike that was caused by a mediocre bar or something I just found ‘meh,’ but an active dislike. I took one bite and knew I was never going to take another. It had these off notes to it. Sweet that felt wrong to be in a chocolate bar. Sort of candy-like.
As for the Madagascar, I was more receptive to it. It was a little bit light on the flavor, but at least it wasn’t terrible. Notes of fruit, sort of citrus-y were present, just barely.
Unfortunately, the weakness of one bar of the Sirene Dark Milk Chocolate bar pack dragged the entire experience pack. The Madagascar was not good enough to salvage the Guatemala-sourced bar.
