The SugarBee apple is a child of the Honeycrisp apple. Like the Juici apple, it’s trying to be…the perfect apple or Honeycrisp 2.0. I’m not going to say I’m getting tired of this completely, because the results have been generally delicious. The SugarBee is no exception.

The SugarBee apple has a light, airy sweetness. An amazing crunch and a tame juiciness. The sweetness doesn’t have a tart tang to it. It’s sweet and tame through and through without being overbearing.

I very much recommend the SugarBee apple. It’s a great apple to eat raw and its existence doesn’t feel completely superfluous.
