The Suncrisp apple is quite a pretty apple to behold. Not a normal red or green type, the Suncrisp is varies in hue between pale yellow and green, accompanied with flushes of red. At the top of its light hued skin, there’s sometimes a star like pattern of matte brown. It’s truly a colorful apple despite its ‘blander’ tone (not a bold red or green). Maybe that’s why it’s called the Suncrisp?
Or, more likely, because of the flavor and texture. The Suncrisp explodes in your mouth as you bite into its crisp, crunchy flesh. It’s crispy and it feels like it sparkles of bold flavor as you chew. A bright, tart-sweet type of taste. It’s powerful and intense. I thought it was delightful.
So yes, definitely recommend the Suncrisp apple. Tasty, crunchy, crispy, pretty, all of the things and above-all powerful! Not to be binge-eaten, but to be eaten and cherished.
