The Sunfood Berry Adventure is one of many ‘super’ trail mixes available. It claims to be non-GMO, organic, and all the other wonderful things.
This particular mix has golden berries, raw cashews, and goji berries.
The goji berries packed the most punch out of the three components. The cashews, being raw, only offered a mild creaminess. The golden berries were subdued in flavor compared to the goji berries, but they were tasty. The end effect of this trio was that I ended up only really tasting the goji berries, which was a bright tartness. A balance of flavor was non-existent.
The package of the Sunfood Berry Adventure was pretty small: only two ounces. Good enough for a quick snack, but I would not consider it a meal replacement.
As for nutrition, which is the point of snack packs like these, the Sunfood Berry Adventure gets points. In a variety of vitamins and minerals it contributes a decent size of daily needs. Low in sugar was a bonus. The only draw back is the protein count: with cashews being the only protein source, the overall protein contribution of this mix is rather small. Because of that it is definitely not a replacement for a meal; just a snack.
