The White Darjeeling Tea is actually a white tea unlike the White Monkey. And it’s a Darjeeling tea too. Crazy! The leaves are of a golden yellow-green mix.
The flavor is mellow and not overpowering. Even after steeping it for awhile, it did not get bitter. It was a little savory-sweet at times. Not much to say about it. I was never turned off when drinking it. Simple streamlined body and flavor, nothing too out there.
The White Darjeeling Tea isn’t a strong tea, which is exactly its appeal to me. It’s not overbearing—it’s quaint and simple. I think there are others I prefer more to it, but I still recommend it for those seeking a soft white tea.
