The White Symphony tea looks like a mess. By that, I mean it has things other than leaves in it. Seems like it is filled with debris that shouldn’t really be there. You’re paying for the leaves, right?
Well, no, not really with this tea. The other stuff accompanying the leaves are buds that are deliberately added to tweak the flavor—without it is basically White Peony tea, according to the Adagio tea listing.
Never had the White Peony variety, but after tasting the White Symphony, I don’t need to. The White Symphony hits all the points I was looking for in it. Sweet, kinda floral, not bitter after steeping for too long, not that caffeinated or heavy. It’s a light, refreshing tea. The flavor isn’t overbearing. It’s really nice.
I recommend this tea for those seeking a nice white tea or just want something lighter.
